Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Continue Weak Trend
PANAMA - Feb 21/23 - SNS -- Bulgaria's movement of confection sunflowers in December sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Shipments for the month totalled 10,555 metric tons (MT), down from 31,113 MT the prior month. This boosted exports so far during the calendar year to 372,713, down 12% last year.
Current trade data revealed China was most important importer, taking 4,100 MT in the month. United States was the second most important buyer receiving 3,429 MT, followed by Canada at 874 MT.
