Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Continue Soft Trend
PANAMA - Feb 21/23 - SNS -- Romania's exports of oil-type sunflowers in December shrank versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total exports for the month reached 22,271 metric tons (MT), down 87% from the previous month's total of 172,441. So far exports have amounted to 1,283,352 MT, down from 1,380,169 during the last calendar year.
The top destination during the month was Turkey, buying 22,269 MT. Australia was the second most important importer taking 2 MT, followed by United States at 0 MT.
