Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Bulgaria Record Weak Month
PANAMA - Nov 15/22 - SNS -- Bulgaria's imports of oil-type sunflowers in September sank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month totalled 73,039 metric tons (MT), down from 103,853 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 887,464, up 347% last year.
Ukraine was the top origin for the month, supplying 66,123 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter supplying 6,760 MT, followed by Turkey at 136 MT.
