Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Maintain Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 17/22 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers during November fell sharply compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 1,935 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 91% from the 21,209 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 160,316 MT, compared to 241,346 during the last calendar year.
The latest movement data revealed Moldova was top export origin, shipping 676 MT. Ukraine was the second most important supplier selling 581 MT, followed by Turkey at 416 MT.
