Oil-type Sunflower Imports By Netherlands Maintain Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Oct 15/21 - SNS -- Netherlands's imports of oil-type sunflowers in August posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.

Imports during the month reached 105 metric tons (MT), down from 47,525 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 201,656, down 59% last year.

The largest origin for the month was Egypt, shipping 50 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter shipping 44 MT, followed by Other at 7 MT.
