Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Continue Soft Tone
PANAMA - Nov 16/20 - SNS -- Exports of oil-type sunflowers from Romania were well down, plunging versus the previous month in September, official trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Total exports during the month reached 60,277 metric tons (MT), down 31% from the previous month's total of 87,000. So far export sales have reached 623,567 MT, down from 1,242,310 during the last calendar year.
In the month, Bangladesh was the number one destination, buying 32,076 MT. Morocco was the second most important importer taking 21,196 MT, followed by Turkey at 7,000 MT.
