Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Maintain Soft Tone

PANAMA - Nov 15/19 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year maintained a weaker trend, with oil-type sunflower export shipments from Romania dropped relative to the previous month in September, judging from official data from Eurostat.

Shipments for the month totalled 95,435 metric tons (MT), down from 109,988 MT the previous month. This boosted movement so far during the calendar year to 855,765, down 21% last year.

During the month, Turkey was the largest consumer, receiving 95,283 MT. Serbia was the second most important importer taking 152 MT, followed by New Zealand at 0 MT.
