Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Start With Soft Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Germany sank relative to the previous month in January, official data from Eurostat reports.
Imports during the opening month of the calendar year totalled 1,872 metric tons (MT), down 93% from 27,606 MT the previous month. The data showed imports was down 92% from the 23,594 MT recorded in the same month last year.
The number one supplier during the month was China, shipping 621 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter shipping 543 MT, followed by Turkey at 513 MT.
