Oil-type Sunflower Imports From Italy Maintain Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Italy's imports of oil-type sunflowers in December fell sharply versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports for the month reached 165 metric tons (MT) , down 99% from the previous month's total of 16,114. So far imports have reached 175,308 MT, down from 201,186 during the last calendar year.
Serbia was the largest supplier, shipping 110 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter selling 22 MT, followed by Argentina at 21 MT.
