Brown Mustard Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canadian Brown Mustard markets finished the 2015-16 marketing year with prices offered to growers advancing 7% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Brown Mustard was CDN$34.90 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $32.73 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $36.40 per cwt in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $31.40 per cwt in August.
