Bulk Mustard Exports Inch Forward

PANAMA - Jun 26/16 - SNS -- Export movement of bulk mustard seed through the primary and terminal elevators system remains in line with last season, according to the latest data from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC).

The CGC reports 200 MT of bulk mustard seed export clearances through reporting terminals and primary elevators between June 13 to 19. That lifted season to date exports to 20,300 MT, compared to 20,900 MT during the previous marketing year. The CGC says season to date exports through terminal elevators include 6,000 MT of No 1 Canada mustard seed.

Farmers delivered 700 MT to primary elevators during the week. This lifts season to date deliveries by farmers to 30,000 MT, compared to 34,100 MT during the same period last season.
