Small Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- Canadian Small Yellow Pea markets finished the 2014-15 marketing year with prices offered to growers creeping 2% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Small Yellow Pea was CDN$282.82 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $277.37 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $330.69 per MT in July, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $229.65 per MT in September.
