Large Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- Canadian Large Yellow Pea markets finished the 2014-15 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching % above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Yellow Pea was CDN$293.06 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $292.33 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $341.71 per MT in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $236.54 per MT in September.
