Maple Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- Canadian Maple Pea markets finished the 2014-15 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 22% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Maple Pea was CDN$312.57 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $400.21 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $339.88 per MT in January, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $293.95 per MT in September.
