Little Change In Mustard

PANAMA - Jan 19/24 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets were largely unchanged in limited trading activity during the past week.

Prices offered farmers for yellow mustard seed occupied a relatively tight range during the past week. The difference between the highest and lowest posted bids sitting at just CDN 2 cents per pound for both No 2 and No 1 grade product. The difference between the high and low bids were 6 and 5 cents respectively for No 3 and No 4 Canada.

On the other hand, the differences between high and low bids for oriental and brown were much wider, reflecting the differences in the short term needs of various market participants.
