Mustard Opens Year Unchanged
PANAMA - Jan 5/24 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets renained unchanged in seasonally light trading activity as the 2024 calendar year got underway.
Prices offered growers in Canada were unchanged in local currency terms during the week, though they fell 1% in U.S. dollar terms because of weakness in the Canadian dollar.
Neither processors nor growers appear to be chasing markets at the moment, with processors appearing well covered relative to short term shipping commitments.
