Seasonal Decline In Mustard

PANAMA - Nov 24/23 - SNS -- Mustard seed values finished the week's trading on a mostly easier note with processors and exporters well covered for short term needs.

While yellow mustard seed bids to farmers were unchanged on the week at CDN 80 cents per pound for No 1 Canada farmers dressed product, steep declines were registered for both oriental and brown.

The biggest drop was recored in oriental, which fell 10% on the week to CDN 60 cents per pound, while brown was off 6% at 63 cents per pound delivered western Canadian processing plants.
