Mustard Seeds Finish Mixed
PANAMA - Oct 20/23 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets posted a mixed finish on the week, with modest gains in yellow offset by declines in both oriental and brown.
Markets continue to wait for Canada's final, official survey based production estimate in December.
In the meantime, updated provincial yield estimates based on data provided by provincial crop reporters suggests the potential for production to come in around 258,100 metric tonsa (MT) of all classes of mustard seed, well above Statistics Canada's September forecast of 167,800 MT.
