Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Open On Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jun 18/21 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year with a softer tendency, with oil-type sunflower export shipments from Romania were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in February, according to statistics from Eurostat.
Exports reached 40,379 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 24% from the 53,344 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 93,723 MT, compared to 273,046 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The number one consumer throughout the month was Turkey, buying 40,376 MT. was the second most important destination taking 3 MT, followed by Canada at 0 MT.
