Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Open On Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Apr 20/20 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Germany fell sharply compared to the previous month in February, trade data from Eurostat reveals.
Imports reached 1,456 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 88% from the 12,216 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 13,672 MT, versus 50,649 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most recent trade data revealed China was biggest origin, selling 560 MT. Turkey was the second most important shipper shipping 485 MT, followed by Moldova at 317 MT.
