Mixed Week For Birdseeds
PANAMA - Mar 15/19 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish on the week, with available supplies of millet and canaryseed remaining closely balanced with the short term needs of the market.
Canadian canaryseed was mostly unchanged on the week, but white proso millet was easier in both grower and inter dealer markets as shippers have largely covered their immediate needs.
Confection sunflower was unchanged on the week, while oil type sunflower was unchanged to slightly higher because of relatively tight stocks in the hands of farmers, elevators and processors.
