Bulk Mustard Exports Ahead of Last Year

PANAMA - May 14/16 - SNS -- Export movement of bulk mustard seed through the primary and terminal elevators system pushed ahead of least season at the end of April, according to the latest data from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC).

It reports 300 MT of bulk mustard seed export clearances through reporting terminals and primary elevators between May 2 to 8. That lifted season to date exports to 18,400 MT, compared to 16,500 MT during the previous marketing year.

Farmers delivered 700 MT to primary elevators during the week. This lifts season to date deliveries by farmers to 26,800 MT, compared to 28,500 MT during the same period last season.
