Canadian World Pulse Index Review
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- The world export price index for pulses finished the 2014-15 marketing year rising 4% above the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the World Pulse Index was 170 points, compared to an annual average of 164 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 185 points in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was 153 points in August.
