Canadian Special Crop Index Review
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/15 - STAT -- Canada's speciallty crop crop dealer price index finished the 2014-15 marketing year easing 1% below the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Special Crop Index was 183 points, compared to an annual average of 186 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was 190 points in July, while the lowest monthly average trading level was 172 points in August.
