Little Change in Field Peas
VANCOUVER - Feb 20/15 - SNS -- North American field pea markets finished the week little changed under relatively light trading conditions.
Short term supplies of field peas remain behind prospective demand, helping sustain prices on both export and grower markets at relatively high levels.
This is especially true of yellow peas, with several buyers now paying Canadian growers more money for yellow than green peas. Bids are now sitting in decile nine territory for whole peas.
