Markets Hope For More Peas

VANCOUVER - Nov 28/14 - SNS -- Field pea markets were mostly steady as demand from end users remains tightly aligned with offers from growers.

The pace of export movement from Canada has slowed considerably in recent weeks, reminding market participants that some of the demand seen this summer was anomalous.

Markets are also holding steady in front of the coming week's crop reports. With rabi seeding falling behind last year's pace in India, interest in pulses appears to be gaining some momentum.
