Mixed Finish For Field Peas
VANCOUVER - Nov 2/14 - SNS -- Field pea markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note against relatively slack trading interest.
Even so, export movement has been excellent. Bulk conventional field pea clearances from Canada are up 40% over last year at 978,200 metric tons (MT) as of October 26, compared to 698,200 MT during the same period last year.
There is a good volume of peas still in position as exporters continue to load peas for the Indian subcontinent and other destinations.
