VANCOUVER - Aug 1/13 - STAT -- Canadian Yellow Mustard markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 14% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Yellow Mustard was CDN$39.63 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $34.90 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $41.75 per cwt in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $36.25 per cwt in September.
