Peas Maintain Strong Tone
VANCOUVER - Jan 18/13 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week;s trading on a relatively quiet note.
Canada's whole green pea market finished the week at new record high for the commodity, with some exporters saying that anyone who owns green peas can virtually name their price.
Yellow pea markets finished the week firmer in sympathy with greens, though there are indications the 2012 calendar year finished with farmers holding more yellow peas than they are revealing to local buyers and processors.
