Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 174,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Jan 18/13 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 174,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-13 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 16,000 from 158,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 35,000 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 875,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 875,900 MT peas down 143,400 from 1,019,300 MT last year.
