Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 263,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Oct 19/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 263,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2012-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 59,500 from 322,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 40,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 490,900 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 490,900 MT peas down 43,100 from 534,000 MT last year.
