Peas Market Spreads Narrow
VANCOUVER - Jul 7/12 - SNS -- Field pea markets registered a mixed performance during the past week, with European prices rising to close the gap with Canadian spot markets.
The region finished its 2011-12 marketing campaign on a strong note against solid demand from India.
Importers had been looking for the country to consume more peas in what has become an overheated domestic chickpea market.
