India Sales Boost French Exports
VANCOUVER - Jun 13/12 - SNS -- Field pea movements to India continued to lift France's export clearances above month and year earlier levels, according to the latest data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
Exports during April totalled 49,720 metric tons (MT), up from the 35,745 MT shipped in March, and up from the 28,425 MT of field peas exported the same month the previous year.
This lifts field pea exports so far during the 2011-12 marketing year to 252,935 MT, versus 295,735 MT during the same period last season.
