Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 175,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Apr 10/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 175,500 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 105,900 from 281,400 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 54,100 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,214,600 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,214,600 MT peas down 568,200 from 1,782,800 MT last year.
