Little Change in Field Peas
VANCOUVER - Apr 6/12 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer against relatively light end user demand.
With old crop inventories effectively sold out among the major origin suppliers, markets are starting to look more seriously at new crop prospects.
This is focusing attention on the situation in India, where there is an emerging concern that pulse production could slip again because returns are not as good as they are for other crops.
