Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 184,100 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 23/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 184,100 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 89,800 from 273,900 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 4,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,189,400 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,189,400 MT peas down 498,900 from 1,688,300 MT last year.
