Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 155,600 MT
WINNIPEG - Mar 16/12 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 155,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2011-12 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 130,200 from 285,800 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 55,700 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,185,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,185,000 MT peas down 438,200 from 1,623,200 MT last year.
