Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 234,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Dec 28/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 234,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-10 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 12,300 from 221,700 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 74,600 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 1,081,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 1,081,000 MT peas up 436,300 from 644,700 MT last year.
