French Pea Exports Maintain Brisker Pace
VANCOUVER - Dec 14/10 - SNS -- For the fourth month in a row, field pea exports from France were above year earlier levels, judging from data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).
In fact, during the 12 months spanning November of 2009 through October, monthly exports were above year earlier levels 10 times.
Exports during October totalled 20,330 metric tons (MT), down from the 30,434 MT shipped in September but over one-third higher than the 14,725 MT of field peas exported the same month last year.
