Record Field Pea Exports in Canada
VANCOUVER - Dec 11/10 - SNS -- Export data for the first quarter of Canada's marketing year confirmed that product is leaving the country at a record pace.
Shipments pushed past 988,000 metric tons (MT) for the August to October period.
Data published separately by the Canadian Grain Commission reveals that of the total, 828,800 MT moved on a bulk conventional basis through licensed terminal elevators, up from 614,800 MT during the same three-month period last year.
