United States Yellow Pea Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 6/10 - STAT -- United States Yellow Pea markets finished the 2009-10 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 23% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Yellow Pea was USD$9.37 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $12.10 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $10.00 per cwt in March, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $8.50 per cwt in November.
