Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 265,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Sep 3/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 265,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-10 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are down 7,000 from 272,000 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 51,700 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 225,200 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 225,200 MT peas up 143,100 from 82,100 MT last year.
