U.S. Lentil Seedings To Soar 44%
WASHINGTON - Mar 28/24 - SNS -- Lentil growers intend to plant 762,000 acres in 2024, up 44% from the previous season in comparable states, according to the USDA's seeding intentions report.
Planted area is expected to increase in all program States. Beginning in 2024, lentil estimates were discontinued in Idaho.
