Edible Beans Remain Mixed

PANAMA - Nov 11/22 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were somewhat mixed in in seasonal trading activity during the past week, partly affected by the short North American trading week due to veterans day observations.

This saw the U.S. dry edible bean price index inched up 0.4 points during the week to close at 98.8. By contrast, the global pulse price index advanced 0.6 points on the week to close at 100.9 while the Canadian index was gained 0.3 points, closing at 100.7.

Modest declines in values for black and navy beans in the United States were offset by moderate week over week advances in nominal pinto bean prices.
