Dry Beans Remain Firm

PANAMA - May 3/24 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets remained relatively quiet during the past week, reflecting tighter short term supply availability.

This was reflected in the U.S. dry edible bean price index which was unchanged on the week, remaining at 120.8.

By contrast, the global pulse price index inched 0.1 points higher during the week to finish at 121.7 and the Canadian index advanced 0.5 points to close 113.7.
