U.S. Lentil Area Rises 11%
WASHINGTON - Jun 30/21 - SNS -- Lentil seedings are expected to total 585,000 acres, up 11% from the previous season, according to the USDA's annual seeded area report.
Area harvested is forecast to total 546,000 acres, up 6% from the previous season. Planted area in Montana and North Dakota is expected to increase from the previous season.
