VANCOUVER - Sep 7/17 - STAT -- United States Pinto Bean markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 23% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pinto Bean was USD$23.10 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $30.15 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $27.20 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $20.25 per cwt in August.
