New Crop Peas Available in N.A.
VANCOUVER - Aug 9/15 - SNS -- North American field pea markets were nominally easier as this years harvest gained momentum across the continent.
An estimated 51% of the U.S. field pea crop was harvested as the week got underway, compared to 10% of the crop in Saskatchewan.
Combined with progress in southern Alberta, this should have seen some new crop deliveries to both primary elevators and pulse processing plants.
