VANCOUVER - Apr 1/15 - SNS -- India's government has extended the duty-free exemption for pulses until the end of September.
The only surprise in the decision was that the duty-free exemption was not extended for another year.
In making the announcement, the government said it was concerned that total pulse output was down during the 2014-15 production cycle.
