Pending Argentine Crops Ease Markets

VANCOUVER - May 3/14 - SNS -- The world's dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on an easier note as selling interest moved ahead of the short term needs of the market.

Some processors and exporters are starting to worry about clearing old crop inventory before prices narrow into new crop trading levels.

Such thinking is not yet evident in North America. This was reflected in the fact the spot market index for U.S. pulses finished the week unchanged at 167.70 points.
